Job Title: Digital Marketer / Social Media Executive

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Digital Marketing Specialists should compare the company’s advertising techniques and offerings with those of competing businesses.
  • They should help maintain a profitable message for the company and help with research to ensure that offerings come close to ideal price points to offer value to potential clients but still let you enjoy a thriving business.
  • They should keep an eye on data that shows changing trends in advertising consumption and ensure that potential clients and consumers view your company’s ad projects and buy your products.

Duties

  • Research advertising trends
  • Research competitors’ pricing and products
  • Decide on appropriate placement of ads
  • Determine what content will reach customers
  • Develop projects to create content
  • Publish digital marketing content online
  • Implement email marketing campaigns
  • Measure digital traffic
  • Monitor social media and Google Analytics
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Monitor project status and budget
  • Conduct market research to inform campaigns
  • Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with internal marketing teams and external suppliers to drive successful execution of the client campaigns, client success is paramount.
  • Create and monitor email marketing campaigns to maximize client results.
  • Monitor activity, answer questions, create content, analyze trends, and resolve issues on social media channels.
  • Monitor and report on web traffic and source analytics against KPIs.
  • Work on pre-designated client content, as well as create original content.
  • Research advertising trends
  • Research competitors’ pricing and products
  • Decide on appropriate placement of ads
  • Developing and executing the organisation’s annual digital marketing plan, including PPC, SEO, Social Media, Affiliates and Display/Re-targeting
  • Devising innovative digital marketing campaigns, that feed into the organisation’s overarching marketing strategy
  • Creating engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organisation’s online brand
  • Implementing strategies to drive traffic to the organisation’s website, including SEO and PPC
  • Creating and implementing a social media policy and framework for the organisation
  • Moderating all social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
  • Managing the digital marketing budget, including allocating budgets across different channels and platforms
  • Producing regular digital dashboards for the Head of Marketing, reporting progress against set KPIs
  • Working closely with colleagues in sales and IT to ensure all activity is integrated
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team.

Professional Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in content creation, strategy, Google Analytics, email marketing, and paid social advertising.
  • Must be strategic, possess a strong attention to detail, demonstrate good communication skills, and have exceptional organization.
  • Google Certified.
  • This person must have the ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks and/or projects while portraying a positive attitude.
