Overview

  • As the YouTube Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize Trust TV’s presence on YouTube, increase subscribers, drive engagement, and maximize viewership.
  • You will play a crucial role in expanding Trust TV’s reach on the platform and ensuring the delivery of high-quality video content to our audience.

Responsibilities

  • YouTube channel management: Oversee all aspects of Trust TV’s YouTube channel, including content strategy, scheduling, uploading, metadata optimization, and monetization. Ensure consistency of branding, messaging, and quality across videos.
  • Content planning and production: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling video concepts and content ideas tailored for YouTube. Coordinate the production process, including scriptwriting, video shooting, editing, and graphics, to deliver engaging and shareable content.
  • Audience growth and engagement: Develop and implement strategies to increase the channel’s subscriber base, enhance engagement, and foster a loyal community. Analyze YouTube analytics to identify trends, optimize performance, and make data-driven decisions to achieve channel goals.
  • SEO and video optimization: Utilize YouTube SEO techniques to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails. Stay up-to-date with YouTube algorithm changes and implement best practices to improve search rankings, visibility, and discoverability of Trust TV’s videos.
  • Collaborations and partnerships: Identify and establish collaborations with relevant YouTube influencers, creators, and industry partners to expand Trust TV’s reach and attract new viewers. Manage relationships and negotiate partnerships to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Community management: Monitor comments, respond to viewer inquiries, and engage with the YouTube community in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and interactive environment to build brand loyalty and ensure a high level of viewer satisfaction.
  • Video performance analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics, including views, watch time, engagement, and audience retention. Generate reports, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize video performance and inform content strategy.
  • YouTube monetization and revenue generation: Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue generation opportunities on YouTube, including ad revenue, sponsorships, merchandise sales, and other monetization avenues. Stay informed about YouTube’s monetization policies and industry trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends and best practices: Keep abreast of the latest YouTube trends, features, algorithm changes, and best practices. Implement innovative strategies and techniques to maintain Trust TV’s competitive edge and enhance the YouTube channel’s performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in YouTube channel management, video production, or related roles, with a strong understanding of the YouTube platform and its ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in growing YouTube channels, increasing subscribers, and driving engagement and viewership.
  • Proficiency in YouTube analytics tools, SEO techniques, and video optimization strategies.
  • Excellent video production and editing skills, with a good understanding of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
  • Strong knowledge of YouTube’s content policies, community guidelines, and copyright regulations.
  • Understanding of YouTube monetization strategies, including ad revenue, sponsorships, merchandise sales, and brand partnerships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using video editing software and YouTube-related tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, TubeBuddy, or VidIQ.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability.
