The MurtalaMuhammed Foundation (MMF) is a non-profit organization, founded on the ideals of the Late Gen. MurtalaMuhammed, a former Head of State of Nigeria (1975-76). The MMF has long been recognized as a pioneer of democracy, policy advocacy, education, human rights, women empowerment, disaster relief and betterment of lives of Africans. The MMF is proud to announce over 10 years experience in implementing development projects in Nigeria. The Foundation was inaugurated in 2001 and launched on the 13th of February 2002, a day that coincided with the 26th anniversary of General MurtalaMuhammed’s assassination. The primary objective of the MutalaMuhammedFoundation is creating a platform for its core issues and providing a voice to Nigeria’s people. Through its dedication, professionalism and highly trained staff MMF has demonstrated national leadership and innovation. By working closely with government officials, international organizations, embassies, local and international NGO’s, religious institutions, professional organizations and relevant stakeholders, the MMF have developed structured and integrated approach to key issues both locally and internationally. Numerous agencies have awarded their recognition and support to the MMF for its excellence, integrity, transparency and professional standard. Since its inception, the Foundation has been committed to supporting local communities, and has committed its resources and goals to sustainable development of Nigeria.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Perform preliminary research into the organization’s mailing list to identify key personalities that can aid with funding for the Chibok book.
  • Perform administra tive duties such as handling all packaging and book dispatch to all concerned recipients.
  • Ensure a comprehensive list of all book receivers is maintained, and proper updates are given.
  • Undertake such other duties/ assuming such other responsibilities as are necessary for the attainment of the objectives of the project.
  • Excellent communication skills
