Job Profile:
The M&E Advisor shall ensure that the project has an appropriate Activity Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (AMELP).
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:
- S/he will ensure that the AMELP is executed, and its objectives achieved by ensuring that detailed activities are developed and implemented.
- S/he will be responsible for the quality of data generated (timeliness, validity, completeness) and will develop and implement these to continually improve the quality of data generated.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Must possess a first degree in a relevant field. A master’s degree in public health, Health Research, Development Studies or related fields and certificates in relevant M&E courses will be of an added advantage
- Must possess a minimum of Five (5) years post NYSC work experience, preferably in M&E and research
- Must have previous experience in the use of the LAMIS, DHIS and other National M&E tools.
- Must show demonstrable willingness and ability to adjust quickly to rapidly changing priorities, multiple demands, and complex situations.
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, training and report writing skills are very important to this position.
- Must be computer literate, able to manipulate spreadsheets and be familiar with the NGO working environment.
