Job Title: Staff Nurse

Position Overview
- As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of our students and staff.
- You will be responsible for providing medical care, administering treatments, managing medical records, and offering health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician’s orders and school policies.
- Monitor student health and conduct health assessments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all students and staff.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to address health concerns and promote student well-being.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
- Participate in school safety and emergency preparedness drills and activities.
- Keep abreast of current health trends, treatments, and medications relevant to school-aged children.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of school health policies and regulations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in healthcare.
