Job Description 

  • As our programs grow rapidly, IDMANN Institute is looking for a Program Instructor (Welding & Fabrication) to support our efforts in providing affordable, world-class technical entrepreneurship training to our students.
  • The Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering hands-on world-class training to our students as they develop the skills needed to CREATE employment for themselves upon completion of our training program.

Requirements
Prospective applicants should note the following:

  • This is a full-time position based in our facilities in Umuahia, Abia State. Successful applicants will be expected to relocate to Umuahia.
  • Successful candidates must be WELL TRAINED craftsmen and technologists in their own right, who have the experience and discipline to teach and develop others.
  • The use of computers for design, teaching and for simulation will be BASIC requirements in this position.
  • Knowledge of CAD (computer-aided design) will be a distinct advantage for prospective candidates.
  • We expect applicants to have hands-on familiarity with instructional design and delivery of vocational training programs.
  • Applicants are expected to be experienced professionals who will bring a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to the delivery and expansion of programs in SEL.
  • Prior experience teaching and vocational training would be very helpful in this position.
