We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparing new prescriptionand refill requests for patients
  • Dispensing medication to patients per the Doctor’s prescription
  • Processing insurance claims
  • Tracking inventory
  • Assist in stock count on a routine basis and ensure that expiring drugs are noted.
  • Ensure that minimum stock levels are not exceeded.
  • Keep the pharmacy clean and ensure that dispensing materials are available.
  • Assist in receiving medications from vendors.
  • Assist in compounding in coordination with the Pharmacist.
  • Provide consumables to the nurses and doctors when needed.
  • Preparing pharmacy packs under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Assist the Pharmacist in any other required duties.
  • Conduct group responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update pharmacy checklists regularly.
  • Provide assistance in various functions of the Pharmacy.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidates must have a Pharmacy Technician Diploma.
  • 1 – 4 years work experience.
  • Candidate must possess a certification from the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria
  • Strong Interpersonal Relationship Skills
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Candidate must be able to multi-task
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Prioritizing, problem solving and organization skills.
  • Strong Computer appreciation skills
  • Customer Care, communication, and public relation skills
  • Articulate, cordial, hospitable, and pleasant personality.
