Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research is pleased to invite your organization to submit applications for providing technical support to a capacity building initiative with the aim of enhancing the leadership capacity of nurse in diverse roles the healthcare sector that include (and not limited to) management, risk communication, data use and research, quality improvement, use of digital tools, capacity building etc

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Organizational Consultant (Technical Support for Nurse Leadership Project in Nigeria)

Location: Abuja
Duration: 120days

Project Overview

  • The project seeks to address critical gaps in nurse leadership skills, strategic planning, team management, and decision-making within healthcare institutions in Nigeria.
  • It is designed to empower nurse leaders, promote a culture of excellence, and foster innovation and best practices in nursing leadership.

Scope of Work
The selected organization will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, and capacity-building interventions in one or more key areas of focus that include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting Needs Assessment: Collaborate with project stakeholders to conduct Formative research (Focus group discussions, Key informant interviews , In-depth interviews ) and needs assessment of nurse leadership capacity and identify priority areas for intervention.
  • Designing Capacity-Building Interventions: Develop and deliver customized training modules, workshops, curriculum development, and resources to enhance nurse leadership skills, communication, conflict resolution, and change management.
  • Providing Technical Assistance: Offer ongoing mentorship, coaching, and technical support to nurse leaders and teams to reinforce learning and facilitate implementation of best practices.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop monitoring tools, collect data, and evaluate the impact of capacity-building interventions on nurse leadership effectiveness, job performance, and organizational outcomes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, case studies, and documentation of training activities, outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for program refinement.

Applications Submission:

  • Interested organizations are requested to submit a proposal for the focal area of interest.
  • It should include the scope of work, methodology, budget, key personnel qualifications, relevant experience, and organizational capacity to deliver the task.

Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated understanding of nurse leadership challenges and capacity-building needs in Nigeria.
  • Experience and expertise in designing and delivering capacity-building interventions for healthcare professionals, particularly nurse leaders.
  • Capacity to provide comprehensive technical support, training, and advisory services tailored to the project objectives and target audience.
  • Track record of successful project implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in similar contexts.
  • Cost-effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed budget, work plan, and timeline.
