Job Title: Generator Engineer (Diesel Generator)

Job Responsibilities
- Operate diesel generators of 5kva and above.
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel generators, checking for worn parts and leaks.
- Monitor generator operations and diagnose malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating moving parts, changing filters, and replacing fluids.
- Repair or replace defective components, such as spark plugs, alternators, fuel injectors, and starters.
- Test generator systems to ensure proper operation.
- Calibrate and adjust generator components for optimal performance.
- Check for signs of wear and tear on generator parts.
- Identify any safety hazards with the generator system.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel generators whenever a fault occurs.
- Responsible for top or complete overhauling of Diesel Generator.
- Ensure the wiring and electrical components are up to code and work efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, BSc, HND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Residence in Kaduna.
- Minimum of 2 years cognate experience as a Generator Maintenance Officer.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
