We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors. Our IDMANN classes offer students the experience of a world-class online learning environment but from the comfort of their own home or respective workplace, and at a convenient time.

Job Title: Academic Affairs Officer

Location: Umuahia, Abia

Job Description 

  • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire an Academic Affairs Officer to support our expanding enrollment of students.
  • This role will support the Academic Directorate in managing academic records including enrollment of students, managing and dissemination of academic credentials, and other functions associated with the academic registry.
  • Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience working in a school managing and maintaining student records and activities with a suitable school management system.
  • He/she will be expected to bring first-hand knowledge of managing the various activity streams needed to ensure seamless and secure management of student records and credentials.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:

  • First-hand experience managing academic records in a school.
  • Ability to organize and improve the recordkeeping function in an academic registry.
  • Ability to interface with students and parents to ensure that their needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a geographically disperse (virtual) spread of students and instructors would be a significant advantage.
  • Prior (or current) experience as a teacher, instructor, or practice supervisor/manager would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience teaching or learning using an online platform. (This would be very helpful.).
