Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative activities and redesigning multiple WordPress sites to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
Admin Activities:
- Manage and maintain multiple WordPress sites, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
- Perform regular backups, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure site stability and security.
- Monitor site performance and implement optimizations to improve loading times and overall user experience.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles within the WordPress sites.
- Ensure compliance with web standards and best practices.
Redesign Activities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the goals for site redesigns.
- Develop and implement new design layouts, themes, and templates to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of the sites.
- Customize and configure WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility for all redesigned sites.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to make continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a WordPress IT Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with website performance optimization and security best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
