Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Contract

Job Summary  

  • The Warehouse Assistant generally supports the day-to-day warehouse operations and deliverables ensuring an efficient management of inventory and distribution to meet business objectives. 

Job Description

  • Ensure all orders (Pos, Spare parts, Debit cards, and other warehouse materials) are processed efficiently for distribution.
  • Assist and coordinate all inbound and outbound movement of materials.
  • Ensure timely updating of warehouse inventory documentation like stock cards, waybills, warehouse registers, and all other documents.
  • Assist file all approved documents.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring stock levels are monitored and Maintained.
  • Participate in monthly stock-taking in the warehouse and other locations.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is clean and safe for operations.
  • Identify and spot inventory discrepancies and report to the manager. Assist file and updating all vendors’ invoices for payment and reconciliation
  • Assist, coordinate, and maintain an organized warehouse.
  • And any other responsibilities assigned to you by the line Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in a related discipline
  • At least 1-year experience in a related role or warehousing/inventory
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills. Must know the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Must be self-driven and be able to take initiative to execution.
  • Good Relationship skills and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Experience with a Payment Terminal Services Provider and Agency banking business would be an added advantage.
