Job Description
- We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/Server to join our front-of-house team.
- The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.
- This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly and promptly.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Process payments and provide receipts as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- OND / BSc / HND in Hospitality Management, Catering, Sales or related field is an advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in a waiter/server role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
