Job Title: Volunteer – Program Officer
Location: Remote

Job Summary
The Program Officer will be responsible leading and coordinating all projects focused on
providing timely and effective assistance to the target audience.
The role requires strategic planning, program development, and management to ensure the
delivery of high-quality services in alignment with organizational values and mission.
Design and develop new programs or initiatives per the organization’s mission and goals.
Conduct needs assessments, research best practices, and develop strategies.
Oversee and manage program activities, ensuring adherence to the project plan.
Collect and analyze data, evaluate program outcomes, and prepare progress reports.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive field experience, and
commitment to improving the lives of the most vulnerable population
Required Experience & Skills
At least two (2) years or more experience in a Media & Communication department is
preferred.
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Social Science or a related field is
an added advantage.
Experience working in collaboration with other teams—such as fundraising, program
management, or field teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, data analysis and interpretation
Experience working or volunteering in the nonprofit sector is preferred, especially with
NGOs, advocacy groups, or community organizations.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
A passion for community empowerment, development and innovation.
Time Requirement:
10 -15 hours per week.
Remuneration
Please note that this is a volunteer position and will not offer monetary compensation at
this time, as our organization is in its initial stages. However, successful candidates will
have the invaluable opportunity to gain significant knowledge and experience that can
serve as a steppingstone in their career path
As our organization grows and secures funding, there may be potential for paid
