Summary
- The Key Purpose of this role is to ensure supply security at the best price and payment terms for the Logistics function.
- The individual needs to align the country’s procurement plans to the Zone Procurement strategy ensuring logistics spend and Champions initiatives are within budget.
- The position will work closely with the BU logistics teams, suppliers and relevant stakeholders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Category strategy implementation.
- Category risk assessments.
- Sourcing new suppliers.
- Tender management support – To be done @ Zone.
- Supplier query and dispute resolution.
- Contracting implementation and compliance.
- Supplier relationship management, SLA’s and Performance tracking.
- Local legal requirements – for Tenders.
- Ensuring accurate sizing vs capacity availability at budget cost.
- Category spend vs budget tracking (monthly Price vs budget and Champions tracking).
- Opportunity identification for closing cost/price gaps.
- Monthly rate card adjustments.
- Continuous improvement – Innovation & value engineering.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Business or a related field.
- 3 -5 years prior related position experience required.
- Advanced Computer skills (MS Office, Financial systems and knowledge would be an added advantage).
- End to end SAP experience.
- Strong sourcing/procurement related processes.
