We are an Upstream Oil and Gas Company, a Leading Oil Exploration and Production Company with active operatorship of prolific blocks and oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Upstream Operations / Commercial Manager
Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients and vendors.
- Monitor market trends and identify business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct market research and analysis.
- Manage contract negotiations and renewals.
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing and product positioning.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences or the Humanities.
- A post-graduate degree in related fields or an MBA would be added advantage
- Minimum of 15 years hands-on post-graduation experience
- Very conversant with Supply Chain operations
- Must be able to manage and apply multiple concurrent field projects and work in a team environment.
- Must be capable of working seamlessly with geoscience, production and reservoir groups in executing drilling/operations engineering solutions.
- Must be capable of providing commercial solutions that deliver optimum hydrocarbon value chain.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A good team player and with good negotiation skills
- Ready, and available to work long hours in a challenging but exceptionally rewarding environment
- Good communication, presentation and reporting skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office Packages: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, confidence and ability to contribute to corporate culture
