We are seeking several new people to join our UK-Med register and be available to deploy in HART Paramedic roles. You will be able to make yourself available to work for 4 to 12 weeks (longer availability may be an advantage).

As a HART Paramedic on our register, you will work closely to help support and/or train others on: Major Incidents, incidents of a CBRN nature, USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) incidents, incidents involving hazardous materials, structural collapse, confined space rescue, major transportation incidents, incidents requiring working at height, trench collapse and rescue and other tasks in accordance with the international standard procedures.

You may also work closely with our clinical team lead, medical staff such as doctors and nurses to support mobile or fixed health structures, acting as patient transfer focal point (if required) and advancing local capacity. If required as per deployment and context, paramedic role could be involved in patient care activities, although it might not be the primary focus of the role.

As a HART Paramedic you may be requested to manage multiple streams of work, acting as a technical resource to support activities related to the context, ensuring that best guidance and standards are available for training and capacity under the Paramedic scope of practice. Along with the doctors and nurses you will play a central role in building the local capacity of any field staff (i.e., Ministry of Health or other NGOs), in areas related to the response, through training delivery.
