Job Title: Treasury Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Officer to manage the company’s liquidity, cash flow, and banking relationships.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in financial management, and a solid understanding of fintech operations, digital payments, and transaction settlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Execute daily treasury transactions, including fund transfers, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial partners to ensure smooth transaction flows.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly treasury and cash flow reports.
  • Support fund forecasting, investment decisions, and cash management strategies.
  • Track incoming and outgoing funds to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with foreign exchange management and remittance processing.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Product teams to optimize fund flows and reduce transaction costs.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks related to liquidity, currency exposure, and funding.
  • Support audits and provide documentation for financial and regulatory reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking (experience in fintech or digital payments is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of cash management, settlements, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools.
  • Good knowledge of banking operations and payment systems (e.g., NIBSS, Switch, settlement platforms).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTP) are an added advantage.
