Job Summary
- The Theatre Nurse will play a vital role in assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations.
- Prepare operating theatres, surgical equipment, and patients for surgery.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure infection control protocols.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall well-being pre, intra, and post-operation.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience as a Theatre Nurse.
- Professional certification or training in perioperative nursing is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
