Job Description
- We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our MDTotco team for a 1 year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of MDTotco systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- You’ll play a key role in troubleshooting, upgrading equipment, and supporting our clients with hands-on technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repair, service, inspection, and commissioning of all MDTotco products.
- Install and upgrade MDTotco systems in line with NOV standards.
- Conduct daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of MDTotco equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Provide daily activity reports and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Support workshop activities, including equipment cleaning, testing, and repair.
- Deliver on-site training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure full compliance with NOV Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and policies.
- Read and interpret instrumentation and electrical drawings, performing accurate connections and cable routing.
- Collaborate effectively with the team while also being capable of working independently.
Performance Expectations
- Provide timely response to field service requests while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment both on-site and in the workshop.
- Ensure client satisfaction through professionalism, technical excellence, and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic networking and instrumentation knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and wiring diagrams.
- Strong foundation in basic electricity and electronics with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform effectively under minimal supervision.
