Job Description

  • Our client is looking for suitable candidates to fill in the position of , Telephone Sales Officer (Graduate Trainee). The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales and building relationships with prospective and existing customers via telephone.
  • The role involves promoting products or services, closing sales, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote products or services.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Close sales deals and achieve assigned targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through follow-ups and regular communication.
  • Address customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record and update customer information in the CRM system accurately.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on company products, services, and promotions.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to customers.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the supervisor.
  • Track and document customer interactions, sales progress, and feedback.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team and other departments to meet overall business objectives.
  • Share insights and feedback to help improve sales strategies and customer experience.

Requirements, Skills and Competencies

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND or OND qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to meeting sales targets.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection.
