We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Technician – Fitter
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- To support the mechanical team by ensuring that all jobs requiring fitting are effectively and efficiently attended to with minimum cost.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all planned and corrective fitting work using the Job Order system.
- Carry out Daily task by inspecting the equipment allocated and reporting back to superior.
- Work according to generally accepted good engineering practices and company policy and procedures.
- Diligently inspect equipment and proactively identify potential failures before they occur and report these to your engineer.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including post-task cleanup.
Requirements
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
- Technical certification would be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar Industrial environment.
The Person Must:
- Excellent Organizational and Multi-Tasking Skills with solid attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to learn.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations in a workshop or industrial environment.
- Â Knowledge of various fitting techniques, including alignment, bolting and other method.
