Job Description
- Chemonics International seeks multiple technical experts for the anticipated USAID-funded Feed the Future Nigeria Value Chain Activity. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
- The activity is expected to improve agricultural productivity by connecting smallholder farmers to resources and promoting access to and adoption of new technologies; develop inclusive and resilient markets whereby farmers, producer organizations and MSMEs are linked to commercial supply chains; strengthen household and community resilience to shocks and stresses; improve the nutrition of women and children; and strengthen policy systems related to resilience, agriculture, and nutrition.
- The Activity is expected to focus on current Feed the Future target value chains – maize, rice, soybeans, cowpeas, and aquaculture – in current target states – Adamawa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Gombe, Kaduna, Kebbi, Niger, and Yobe.
- The final scope and priorities of the activity may change in response to USAID’s activity design.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field that aligns with the above technical areas is required, master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the above technical areas.
- Prior work experience in Nigeria.
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills required.
