Job Description
- The World Food Programme (WFP) Nigeria Country Office (CO), in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation, is implementing a project in Yobe, Northeast Nigeria, on Strengthening Food Systems to Promote Increased Value Chain Employment Opportunities for the Youth in Northeast Nigeria.
- COOPI is currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team in the following position: Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and MSME Development Expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team lead in performing and coordinating daily interventions.
- Support in synthesizing initiatives’ achievements and developing strategic documents such as issue briefs and other knowledge products in line with WFP requirements.
- Support in developing communication materials (e.g. flyers, impact stories, online news) for WFP from information and data provided by program staff, such as reports, summaries, presentations, and verbal inputs.
- Ensure proper knowledge management of CP’s activities in line with WFP requirements.
- Draft and communicate sensitization messages to project participants
- Perform other related duties as required and as may be requested by the team lead.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 4 – 6 years of work experience.
