We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Tally Clerk – Eastern Premier Feed Mill
Location: Calabar, Cross River
The Purpose of the Job
- Receives stores and distributes products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
The Duties
- Receives customer orders and write loading orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved for leading.
- Read customer orders and write loading orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved for loading.
- Move material and items from receiving or storage areas for loading.
- Start and place materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequence such as type and product code.
- File orders and distribute items to designated route drivers.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for customer traffic.
- Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
- Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Complete requisition forms to order suppliers from other departments.
- Prepare parcel for mailing.
Qualifications
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
Experience:
- 2 years’ cognate experience.
The Person Must:
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Pay attention to details.
