Job Title: Talent Data & Administrative Assistant

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Talent Data & Admin Assistant to support the development and management of our growing talent database.
  • This role is administrative in nature and will focus on tracking, cleaning, and organizing candidate data, sorting talent into relevant categories, and supporting basic reporting.
  • If you’re process-driven, comfortable with spreadsheets, and enjoy working behind the scenes to make systems run smoothly, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming candidate submissions from online forms
  • Review and clean data entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Categorize candidates into appropriate skill buckets based on set criteria (industry, experience, job type, etc.)
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets or databases used to track the talent pool
  • Flag incomplete or unclear entries for follow-up by the recruitment team
  • Assist with organizing candidate folders and documents, where applicable
  • Provide weekly summaries and status updates on the talent database
  • Support general admin tasks related to the recruitment and data team

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in an administrative or data entry role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
  • Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, and data collection tools (e.g., Google Forms)
  • Basic understanding of how to sort and filter data
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a recruitment or HR-related environment

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience supporting a recruitment, HR, or operations team
  • Familiarity with any ATS (e.g., Zoho Recruit, BreezyHR) or basic CRM tools
  • Interest in talent development or social impact work
  • Entry into the world of recruitment and HR operations
