Job Description

  • Under the direct supervision of the Talent and Acquisition Lead, the Talent Acquisition Specialist shall function as part of our HR team, s/he will be responsible for leading the staffing efforts of Airtel towards building a strong workforce that adds to the Airtel Human Capital Strategy.
  • The individual is expected to be highly skilled and educated HR professional with a broad outlook and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Identification and Pipeline Building: The TA Officer will support the TA Lead in identifying talents for various vacancies within the organization, and for future business needs.
  • Candidate Screening: Screen resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements. 
  • She/he will then move chosen candidates on to the next step in the hiring process. 
  • Deploy Assessment to shortlisted candidates.
  • Support the TA Lead in conducting prescreening interviews, set up interview appointments between the shortlisted candidates and the hiring manager.
  • Ensure frequent feedback is provided to both candidates, HRBP and Hiring Managers via email, phone and/or SMS.
  • Follow up with candidates to ensure required documentations are completed within timeline.
  • Liaise with local agencies, relevant colleges where we can source for potential hires, and attend events and Job Fairs. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree preferable in relevant fields.
  • One to three (1-3) years of hands-on experience in Human Resources Generalist or Recruitment.
  • Experience as a Recruiter in Consulting, Telecommunications, IT or Financial Services industry.
  • Relationship Management & People skill.
  • Strong communication skills to achieve collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
  • Results oriented and Ownership mindset.
  • High integrity and confidentiality are a must.
