Job Title: Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to source, attract, and hire top talent across various levels and departments.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
  • Design and deliver learning and development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career growth.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with department heads to identify development opportunities.
  • Implement employee engagement strategies, including onboarding programs, mentoring, and career path planning.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of development initiatives through employee feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in talent acquisition / talent development
  • Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle and implementing employee development programs.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software, and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Professional Certificate in HR eg. CIPM.
