Job Summary

- We are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven, and hands-on Supermarket Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our flagship supermarkets in Nigeria. This is a strategic leadership role for professionals who understand retail excellence and want to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all in-store operations including sales, inventory, staffing, and merchandising.
- Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets.
- Supervise stock replenishment, expiry management, and inventory controls.
- Drive superior customer service and staff performance.
- Integrate and manage online/delivery platforms (WhatsApp orders, e-commerce, etc.).
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, compliance, and ethical conduct.
- Lead community and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years retail experience, 3 of which must be in a managerial role in a high-traffic supermarket or chain store.
- Strong people management, financial, and operations skills.
- Working knowledge of POS, ERP, and retail analytics systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
