We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Steward
Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment by machine or hand
- Clean premises and equipment related to catering services
- Remove dirty crockery, cutlery, or waste matter from dining areas
- Report mechanical or food faults immediately
- Maintain a presentable appearance
- Report accidents or incidents
- Ensure economical use of materials and supplies
- Address vending challenges from staff, visitors, and patients
Qualifications
- Basic education and understanding of food hygiene and safety
- At least 6 months experience in a standard catering service doing similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of quality and customer care principles
Personal Attributes:
- Effective communicator
- Good interpersonal skills
- Adherence to Professional dress codes
- Work efficiently
