We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Steward
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Responsibilities
- Cooks guests’ orders according to their preferences
- Employ food safety best practices and make sure that all kitchen staff members do the same
- Act with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
- Select choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavour
- Experiments to come up with new specialties that will draw diners into the restaurant
- Determine how much food to order and maintain an appropriate supply at guest house
- Keep up with trends in cooking to ensure that Lafarge guests have a positive experience
- Work quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings
- Ensure the Lafarge guest house is clean and neat.
- Do laundry, Ensure the kitchen utensils are cleaning and dishes are constantly washed.
Requirement
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / NCE qualification.
