Job Title: Social Media Marketer

Core Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Brand Positioning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s brand and marketing goals.
- Identify target audience segments and tailor content and messaging to optimize engagement and reach.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to maintain a competitive social presence.
Content Planning & Management:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and video editors to produce high-quality visual and written content.
- Manage a content calendar that reflects promotional campaigns, seasonal themes, and product launches.
Campaign Execution & Performance Marketing:
- Run paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms, including targeting, budget management, and performance optimization.
- Track campaign metrics such as CPC, CTR, conversions, and ROI to refine future strategies.
- Coordinate with the sales team to align lead generation and conversion campaigns with broader business goals.
Community Engagement & Brand Advocacy:
- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster community trust and loyalty.
- Engage with influencers, brand advocates, and user-generated content to boost brand visibility.
- Manage online reputation and respond to customer reviews and concerns across platforms.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth, reach, and conversions.
- Generate regular reports and insights to guide data-driven decision-making and improve campaign outcomes.
- Continuously test and optimize content types, posting schedules, and platform-specific strategies.
Collaboration & Compliance:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaigns.
- Ensure all social media activities comply with relevant policies, regulations, and copyright standards.
- Manage third-party tools, agencies, and partnerships as needed to enhance social media effectiveness.
Requirements
Key Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field (required).
- Certifications in Social Media Marketing, Digital Advertising, or Content Marketing (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a B2C or lifestyle-driven industry.
- Track record of growing brand presence across multiple platforms through organic and paid strategies.
- Experience with influencer management, customer engagement, and community building.
Capabilities:
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their respective tools/algorithms.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills, with an eye for design and storytelling.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
