Description

  • The SME Portfolio Manager at Renmoney will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the portfolio of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). 
  • This position involves analyzing the performance of SME loans and ensuring effective risk management while driving growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SME loans, from origination to portfolio monitoring and reporting.
  • Analyze portfolio performance metrics such as loan default rates, repayment rates, and profitability.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize credit risk within the SME portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the credit team to ensure all loans issued meet the company’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in the SME segment, focusing on client retention and acquisition.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance and risk exposure to senior management.
  • Identify market opportunities and recommend new products or enhancements tailored to SMEs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in the regulatory environment that could impact the SME sector.
  • Foster strong relationships with SME clients to understand their needs and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in portfolio management, credit analysis, or related fields, specifically focusing on SMEs.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and portfolio management practices.
  • Proven track record in achieving growth targets and managing financial portfolios effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools, including Excel and credit risk management systems.
