Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Sales Professional with a strong track record in Nigeria’s solar energy market. 
  • The ideal candidate will have deep industry connections, a proven sales record (minimum 10MW/month), and the ability to drive business growth with major solar suppliers, distributors, and installers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve minimum 10MW/month in solar PV module and system sales.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with leading Nigerian solar suppliers, distributors, and EPC contractors.
  • Identify new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitable deals and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and government policies affecting solar adoption.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide clients with optimal solar solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 5+ years of solar PV sales experience in Nigeria, with a focus on modules, inverters, or complete solar systems.
  • Proven sales record of at least 10MW/month (must provide verifiable references).
  • Strong network with major Nigerian solar suppliers (e.g., Lumos, Arnergy, Daystar Power, Auxano Solar, etc.).
  • Experience dealing with off-grid solar, mini-grids, or C&I (Commercial & Industrial) projects.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close high-value deals.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: N500,000 – N1,000,000 / month
  • Attractive commission structure (uncapped earnings)
