Job Title: Senior Sales Specialist (Logistics as a Service)

Your Mission
- Glovo’s core product is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the best restaurants in each city and delivery in less than 60 minutes.
- However, we believe that most restaurants and stores combine marketplaces with their own channels (website, phone, application, social media); and we want Glovo to be the delivery partner of choice for all of our partners’ deliveries, no matter the channel.
- We are looking for a results driven problem solver to join the team in Nigeria to scale Glovo’s Logistics as a Service (LaaS) products, a vertical that helps our partners deliver orders created on their own channels (website, phone, application) via Glovo’s fleet of riders.
- As the LaaS Sales Specialist you will be the lead in Nigeria for generating sales and be the key representative of the LaaS Sales team
The Journey
- Be the primary person responsible for selling LaaS solutions to potential partners
- Be in charge of building relationships with high priority partners, understanding their business needs , pitching the right Glovo product and signing them.
- Engage with key decision makers and follow up with them during the decision making process until you close deals with them.
- Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
- Understand partner needs and compile, and share feedback with the LaaS team
- Manage and support a team of junior sales agents
What you will bring to the ride
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a business, commercial, sales, account management field
- Customer oriented with strong commercial skills
- Accountability and ownership for projects from start to finish – can understand the entire funnel and identify where to take actions
- Willingness and ability to coordinate all technical, operational and commercial aspects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management skills, proactive, highly organized and detail-oriented with advanced stakeholder management skills
- Problem solver, data-driven, analytical profile
- Good knowledge of Google Docs and MS Office, Excel
- Proficiency in English
