Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Logistics Manager to lead our logistics operations within the oil and gas sector.
- The ideal candidate should possess 7 years in-depth knowledge of oil & gaslogistics processes, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance, and will be responsible for optimizing our logistics network to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations, especially in Oil and Gas Sector.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols within the oil and gas sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to optimize supply chain processes and achieve cost savings.
Qualifications
- First Degree (First class or Second-Class Upper Division)/HND in Transportation
- 7 years relevant experience in oil & gas logistics operations management
- Must have managed a fleet size of 200 (trucks) and above
- MBA and professional qualifications is an added advantage.
