Job Title: Senior Industry Consultant (Oil & Gas – Contract Role)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers and Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
The Role
- We are seeking to engage a Senior Consultant on a 6-month contract basis.
- This role is suited for retired or former executives/managers from International Oil Companies (IOCs) or seasoned professionals with strong networks in Nigeria’s oil & gas space, particularly within procurement, business development, or regulatory engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage personal and professional network to introduce Oceanvision Energy to key decision-makers
- Facilitate strategic meetings and partnership opportunities
- Guide the company through prequalification, bidding, and procurement processes
- Support the development of growth strategies in upstream and downstream operations
- Advise on positioning, branding, and market entry within high-value segments
Ideal Candidate
- Retired or ex-manager/executive from a major IOC or oil servicing firm
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
- Demonstrated network of active industry contacts
- Familiar with NNPC, IOC procurement systems, and project lifecycle
- Available for part-time or flexible engagement on a monthly retainer.
Compensation
- Monthly retainer of N1,000,000 – N1,200,000
- 10% commission on successfully executed contracts sourced through consultant’s network or effort
- Contract is for an initial period of 3 months, with potential renewal based on performance
