Description
- We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a strong background in Next.js and React Native to join our growing technology team.
- This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 7 years experience, including proven expertise working in fintech or cross-border payment platforms.
- You will play a key role in building, optimizing, and maintaining user-facing applications that are critical to our payment ecosystem, with an emphasis on performance, security, and great user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive frontend interfaces using Next.js for web and React Native for mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, and designers to deliver intuitive and performant cross-platform applications.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs, payment processors, KYC/AML tools, and third-party services.
- Optimize web and mobile applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Maintain clear documentation, reusable components, and scalable code structures.
- Implement best practices in CI/CD, frontend testing, and version control (Git).
- Lead frontend code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
- Stay updated with fintech compliance requirements (e.g., data protection, PCI-DSS, digital ID security) as they affect frontend design.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and secure session management.
- Experience working in a fintech company or building products related to payments, wallets, or financial services is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management (Redux, Context API, etc.), and component lifecycle.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, internationalization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows, and deployment tools (Vercel, Expo, etc.).
- Ability to write clean, scalable, well-documented code with a focus on maintainability.
Salary
N900,000 / Month.
