Job Title: Senior Finance Officer

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategicSenior Finance Officer to lead and oversee our finance and accounting operations.
  • The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with at least 4 years of experience, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment. 
  • The role requires a dynamic individual with strong financial acumen, leadership capabilities, and the ability to contribute to business decision-making and growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (IFRS).
  • Develop financial strategies and provide insights to support business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support senior management with data-driven financial analysis and performance metrics.
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff, ensuring continuous development and performance improvement.
  • Drive cost efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities for financial optimisation.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) mandatory.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Experience in a consulting, professional services, or similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
