Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer Mechanical Planner to join our team at Dangote Cement Plc, Obajana.
- In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in our cement production facilities.
- You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all planned activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the mechanical maintenance plan for the cement production facilities.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
- Prepare reports and communicate maintenance schedules to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mechanical maintenance planning.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 9 to 11 years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning, preferably in the cement industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and techniques.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and planning software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
