We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Accountant (SA1)
Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Ability to manage and oversee the operations of the accounts department as listed below:
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Cash receipts
- General ledger
- Payroll and utilities
- Treasury, budgeting
- Cash forecasting
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Periodic statement reconciliations,
- Fixed asset activity
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Prepare documentation for and coordination of External Audit.
- Delegate financial responsibilities to the accounting team member.
- Reviewing financial data to make forecasting decisions and communicating with company executives about financial strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Professional Qualification (ACA/ACCA) is a must
- Minimum of 10 years cognate working experience.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills.
