Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security Supervisor to join our team at Dana Pharmaceuticals, in Ibadan.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of our organization, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, assets, and premises.
Responsibilities
Supervise Security Personnel:
- Oversee and manage a team of security guards
- Ensure that security personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
Security Operations:
- Monitor and respond to security breaches or incidents
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises
- Ensure that security protocols and procedures are followed.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate security risks.
Emergency Response:
- Respond to emergency situations such as intrusions, fires, or medical emergencies
- Coordinate with emergency services as needed.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and breaches
- Prepare and submit security reports as required.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a safe and secure working environment
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other external stakeholders as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
- National Diploma (ND) in any field
- Previous Experience is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a security supervisory role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.
