JOB SUMMARY

Help the Talent Academy is seeking to employ a passionate and experienced individual with considerable knowledge in the area of sales and marketing and can deliver effective outcomes to oversee our Sponsorship activities. This includes project selection, monitoring and risk assessment, as well as potential profitability elements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create corporate sponsorship proposals
  • Sell sponsorship opportunities to local businesses
  • Plan and execute sponsorship activation components
  • facilitate internal and external communications and effectively tracking and measuring programs.
  • Negotiate and manage sponsorship agreements and serves as a liaison with corporate partners on sponsorship execution
  • Following-up with prospective sponsors via phone calls and physical meetings
  • Leads the organization, conceptualization, planning and execution of the yearly events calendar
  • Creating targeted Activities & Events with the intent of maximizing on revenue streams during the period as well as overseeing the various activities and events at the Academy
  • Prepare and handle events and sponsorship budgets and invoicing for the entire events calendar. As well as delivering on the overall event and sponsorship strategies.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various departments in overseeing the planning, logistics and production of all events.
  • Managing branding and communication of all events as well as being present during key activities and events.
  • Work with key stakeholders, including the General Manager on key updates and plans as well as being the key point of contact for the events committee.
  • Promote and source opportunities to increase awareness, promote, develop and maintain good external relations to strengthen the Academy’s image.
  • Provides consistent and up to date market information for the use of the Academy to drive marketing promotions for events and membership opportunities.

TARGETS

  • Secure a minimum of 2 sponsors in a month
  • Have at least 2 physical meetings in a week with prospective sponsors
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to submit at least 20 proposals to prospective sponsors in a week.

COMMISSION

  • 10% commission on each successful sponsor
  • Earn over 300,000 additional income
