Job Overview
- As a Sales Representative specializing in corn derivatives, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with clients.Â
- This position requires a deep understanding of FMCG dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet sales targets effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to expand sales territory.
- Present, promote, and sell corn derivative products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging trends in corn derivatives.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential and track sales and status reports.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations to represent the company.
- Stay updated with product knowledge, marketing promotions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the FMCG sector minimum of 2 Years.
- Strong knowledge of corn derivatives and their applications.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Professional Association membership will be an added advantage
Work Environment
- This role is purely a field one.
- Frequent visit to client sites, including retail stores and trade (markets), is expected.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly
