Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our growing team.
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales to achieve individual and company sales goals.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of sales principles, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential customers through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, social media, referrals).
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale, and prepare sales contracts.
- Close sales and achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Provide exceptional pre-and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare and present sales reports to management as required.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to provide customer feedback and insights.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven track record of success in sales, with 2+ years of experience in a sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [specific industry, e.g., B2B software sales, pharmaceutical sales, retail sales].
- Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling).
- Multilingual abilities (if applicable to the target market).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to use a computer and phone extensively.
Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 monthly.
