Purpose of the Role
The Remote Project and Sales Officer will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on setting and tracking sales projections.
  • Managing client accounts as structured projects, from proposal to delivery.
  • Driving revenue growth for Afconrecruit through commission-based earnings tied to performance.

Scope of Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales:

  • Research and identify prospective clients across targeted industries.
  • Generate leads through digital networking, referrals, online platforms, and outreach campaigns.
  • Present Afconrecruit’s recruitment and workforce solutions to prospective clients in virtual meetings.
  • Prepare and submit tailored proposals with clear value propositions.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals in line with company objectives.

Client Advisory and Sales Projection Guidance:

  • Work with clients to understand their market, sales history, and business goals.
  • Assist in developing realistic sales projections linked to workforce planning.
  • Recommend recruitment or operational solutions to help achieve projections.
  • Track client progress against agreed projections and provide adjustment strategies.

Remote Project Coordination:

  • Treat each client engagement as a project with defined timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Coordinate internal recruitment or service delivery teams to meet client requirements.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services agreed with the client.
  • Maintain open and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate client records, proposals, and contracts using the company’s CRM.
  • Submit weekly and monthly updates on:
  • Leads generated and conversion status.
  • Sales revenue achieved.
  • Client projection tracking.
  • Challenges and recommendations for improvement.

Deliverables:

  • Weekly list of qualified leads with details on potential service needs.
  • Documented sales projection plan for each new client.
  • Monthly progress updates comparing projections vs. actual results.
  • Achievement of agreed commission-based sales targets.
  • Timely completion of project deliverables for all client engagements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new clients signed up monthly.
  • Total revenue generated and commission earned.
  • Lead-to-client conversion rate.
  • Quality and practicality of client sales projection plans.
  • On-time delivery of all project milestones.
  • Client satisfaction rating from feedback surveys.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years in sales, business development, or client account/project management.
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets, preferably in recruitment or B2B services.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and virtual presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, virtual meeting platforms, and remote work productivity tools.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
