Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies to expand market share, and managing key customer relationships.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the FMCG sector, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with new product launches and promotions.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with key clients.
  • Manage sales budgets and optimize the allocation of resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the FMCG market, products, and customer needs.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive sales strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in the FMCG industry.
