Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.
- In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies to expand market share, and managing key customer relationships.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the FMCG sector, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achieve sales goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with new product launches and promotions.
- Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with key clients.
- Manage sales budgets and optimize the allocation of resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the FMCG market, products, and customer needs.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive sales strategies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in the FMCG industry.
