Job Title: Sales Engineer – Machines and Equipment

Job Summary
- The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and fostering relationships with clients for European-manufactured machinery and equipment.
- This role combines technical expertise with strong sales acumen to identify customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, and ensure a seamless sales process.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in industrial or technical sales and a deep understanding of European machine technology, quality standards, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new markets and customer segments to expand business opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and technical teams to address concerns or requirements.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
- Understand the features, applications, and competitive advantages of European machines and equipment.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training for customers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote products at industry events, trade shows, and seminars.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide insights and reports on market demand, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts.
Technical Expertise:
- Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate machine solutions.
- Work with internal and external teams to customize solutions that meet specific needs.
- Support the installation and commissioning of equipment where necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts aligned with company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.
- Submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in sales of industrial machinery, preferably European brands.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of machine specifications, automation solutions, and operational processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, trade shows, and product training.
