Job Title: Roll Turning CNC Operator

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Description

  • A Roll Turning CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating computer-controlled machines to precision-turn and grind large rolls used in various industries, such as steel, paper, and textile manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC roll turning machines, including programming and editing codes.
  • Load and unload rolls, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
  • Monitor machine performance, detecting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality control checks, ensuring turned rolls meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to optimize production processes.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machines and replacing worn tools.
  • Meet production targets, working efficiently to achieve desired output and quality.

Education / Certification

  • Candidates should possess a High School Diploma / SSCE qualification.
