Job Title: RMP Operator
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna

Job Summary
- To oversee the operation of Raw Material Processing (RMP) equipment and ensure the smooth preparation of raw materials like iron ore for use in the Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) production process, maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor RMP equipment including crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders.
- Ensure raw material quality meets the required specifications for DRI production.
- Perform routine equipment inspections to identify and report any abnormalities or malfunctions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities and assist in troubleshooting machinery breakdowns.
- Maintain proper documentation of operations, including daily logs and reports.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize material handling and minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years in a similar role within a mining, steel, or DRI production facility.
- Proficiency in operating raw material processing equipment.
- Good understanding of material handling and DRI production processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards in industrial environments.
